The ask

Co-Dx, a medical diagnostics company, was built on the idea that everyone on Earth deserves to have Gold-Standard PCR testing available fast, and at a price they can afford. This lofty goal led to the development of the Co-Dx PCR platform and the potential to provide the highest quality testing anywhere.

With this new product going through clinical approvals from the FDA, Co-Dx needed a complete refresh of their web experience and a clean, functional site that explained the intricacies of their new product in a way that everyone from lab professionals to business owners and stay at home parents can understand.

Our Approach

Our team became glued at the hip to a handful of Co-Dx stakeholders for the site's development. We spent time in interviews and took over the overall diagnostic market with a fine-toothed comb to craft the right user journeys that would strike a chord for multiple personas, each with unique reasons for their interest in the PCR platform.

Once we got down to the whos, whys, and hows of the PCR platform and accompanying tests, it was time to dive into site navigation, strategy, copy, design, and development of the site.

A customized, templated approach

Enter Elementor

To get the templated approach with a custom feel, we turned to a combination dev stack of Elementor and WordPress. This decision gave us the ability to develop a handful of templated parent pages, which were easily duplicated for each subsequent page. By not having to build out each page from scratch, the timeline on the build was slashed by weeks, giving us time to polish and test each template family before going live.

The results

By balancing customized needs with a templated approach, we launched a site that Co-Dx has been complimented on around the world. As they continue to showcase the PCR platform, they can direct interested buyers to a site that is visually striking, intuitive, and loaded with all the information needed to make PCR testing at home not just the gold standard, but the only standard for preventing the spread of illnesses.
